Biography
Jacob Shrum is a composer and orchestrator of music for media. Based in Los Angeles, he has worked in Film ("Godzilla: King of the Monsters", "Venom", "Jumanji: The Next Level"), as well as Television ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", "Outlander", Disney’s "The Lion Guard"), and Video Games ("Death Stranding").
He attended the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, receiving a Bachelor’s in Music Composition, as well as The University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC, where he earned his Master’s in Film Scoring. In Los Angeles, he has mentored under composers Chris Lennertz ("Lost in Space" (2018), "Agent Carter", "Horrible Bosses 2"), Timothy Wynn ("XCom 2", "Supernatural"), Ian Honeyman ("Constantine", "TMNT"), and Andrew Raiher ("Ultraviolet", "Starship Troopers 3").
Jacob continues to work on various projects in all mediums, from film shorts, to features and video games.
